Agricola Fabbriche Palma is located between Lucignano and Monte San Savino, medieval villages in Val di Chiana, a beautiful valley in the heart of Tuscany. The winery, which is 50 acres wide, 10 of which are vineyards, follows a unique tradition in high quality wine production, thanks to ideal climate conditions, exposure of the fields, location, and soil properties. The vineyards produce different grapes such as the traditional Sangiovese, Colorino, and Canaiolo, as well as the international varieties Merlot and Syrah. Agricola Fabbriche has been owned for fifty years by the Palma family, which has always been passionate about wine. Caterina Palma was born and raised in Milan, but she has been living the Tuscan resindence as a vacation destination since childhood, with relatives and friends.
In the late Nineties, while she was working as an events planner and growing her daughters Giorgia and Margherita up, (hence the name of the wine Camargi), she decided to start and run her family wine business, thanks to a growing interest and the chance meeting with the winemaker and enologist Pasquale Cometti.
With the help of her capable staff and associates, and investments in technology, technique, and new fields, Caterina Palma learned quickly, and she has been able to raise a high quality and high passionate wine production in ten years.
